The Dahlonega Literary Festival will be held March 25-26. Authors lined up for this Festival are: Jacob Appel (Saturday only), Buzz Bernard, Valerie Boyd, Mark Braught, Rita Mae Brown,Jackie Cooper, Ann Hite, Cassandra King, Erika Marks, June Hall McCash, Maggie Mitchell, William Rawlings, Linda Sands, Susan Sands and George Weinstein. I am sure there will be other names added as we get closer to the date of the Festival but this is a fantastic list already.
This Festival gets better and better each year and the upcoming Festival should be the best ever. This, to me, is one of the most accessible Festivals in the country. Those who attend are given many, many opportunities to meet with the authors as well as ask questions of the authors. There are even opportunities to eat lunch with an author. So make your plans to make your way to beautiful Dahlonega, Georgia for this outstanding Festival. All you have to do is show up. All the planning for events has already been done.
